Michael Phelps is too good for Kellogg's, and should tell them to stuff their crappy cereal where the sun don't shine.
Gee, let see, which is worse conduct, smoking a bong or potentially killing people with salmonella bacteria?
Ask Gabrielle Meunier the mother of a seven (7) year old child that apparently became deathly ill after eating peanut butter crackers sold by a Kellogg's subsidiary (Kellogg's was named in a lawsuit by Gabrielle Meunier and recently testified before Congress).
Sure Kellogg's received their peanut butter from a supplier - Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) - but what steps did they take to insure their product was safe? How many times did they inspect the plant that supplied them? Did Kellogg's know or should they have known, that their product was not safe to eat?
The following is part of an article written by RICARDO ALONSO-ZALDIVAR and BRETT J. BLACKLEDGE, Associated Press Writers – Thu Feb 5, 5:39 pm ET
"Peanut Corporation of America found salmonella in its products at least 12 times in the past two years. FDA officials say the company retested, got a negative reading and shipped the products. Peanut Corporation of America denies any wrongdoing, and says it has fully cooperated with the investigation. The government has opened a criminal probe".
So far, more than 470 people in 43 states have been sickened in the salmonella outbreak stemming from Kellogg's supplier (PCA), and at least 90 have been hospitalized. At least six deaths have been linked to the outbreak.
Michael Phelps, you should be dumping them, and If I were you, I would be saying it rather loudly.
